If there’s one thing that ruins dining outdoors it’s the faint, then louder, sound of an incoming wasp.

So if you love picnics, barbecues and eating al fresco, then this new stylish wasp trap from the boffins at the Science Museum will sort out those buzzing pests once and for all.

The trap even looks at bit like a wasp, with sunny yellow and black stripes, and it won’t seem out of place on any terrace or outside table.

All you have to do is put a little sugary liquid (lemonade or honey will do the trick) in the bottom and watch as the wasps flock to it.

What makes the trap even more appealing to us at Red HQ, is the fact that you don’t have to use those horrible smelling repellents, which don’t last long and leave you choking.
